How can we redefine today’s relationship between architecture and ideology ? What relationships can we envisage between them, after several decades, during which architects and critics have compliantly accepted discourses advocating the end of ideologies ? How can we identify the power and influence of the invisible and collective forces that shape architecture, from within and without ? This book answers these questions by means of the diverse positions taken during an « Architecture and Ideologies » colloquium at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Malaquais and the École d’architecture de la ville et des territoires Paris-Est.
