Pre-election analysis of the European Elections – POLINDEX 2024
On Wednesday 12 June 2024 at 14.00 a webinar for the press, the research community and interested citizens is organised to understand political behaviour and values in Luxembourg and Europe. This online conference aims to present the major outcomes of the POLINDEX study conducted ahead of the European elections to be held on 9 June 2024. Prior to this event, the POLINDEX study findings will be presented by the Research Chair of Legislative Studies at the University of Luxembourg to the Bureau and the Conference of Presidents of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies.
POLINDEX aims to report on an annual, non-partisan and scientific basis, on possible transformations in the individual and collective values (and their consequences in terms of social cohesion and political legitimacy) in Luxembourg and Europe. The aim is to obtain research results relating to relationships with democracy, institutions, and civil society organizations, and to build up a socio-cultural, socio-economic, and socio-political database on the determinants of voting, political behaviour and social representations, in order to improve decision-making in Europe.
