Celebration
The SciTeach Center invites you to join our celebration of our newest release, the Science Dobaussen series of pedagogical resources for primary teachers. The Science Dobaussen initiative aims to support primary science teaching and learning outside. Science Dobaussen investigation guides are built on a foundation of science instruction approaches that engages students in exploring, asking questions, conducting investigations and building and communicating science understandings.
The SciTeach Team developed the topics for Science Dobaussen instructional units together with SCRIPT, drawing from the Luxembourg Plan d’Études aligned with current topics that are relevant and interesting to students’ lives and provide a foundation for science understandings at the fundamental school level. The further co-development was done in partnership with teachers, for teachers.
The result is a series of pedagogical supports including downloadable open-access pedagogical handbooks, teacher professional development workings, and resources for schools to teach science outdoors.
