Career opportunities
Graduates may pursue a career as an investment fund lawyer, a legal officer in a fund industry professional (manager, custodian, distributor), a compliance officer, or even in national, European or international institutions.
The Master’s degree also allows candidates who meet the requirements to continue their studies at PhD level.
Learning outcomes
Master and apply the concepts of Luxembourg Investment Funds Law
- Master the concepts of Luxembourg and European investment funds law, follow current developments in the field and understand the unique challenges;
- Identify and explain the interactions between these different concepts, as well as with those of other branches of law;
- Understand the dynamics of the evolving legal and regulatory frameworks and the consequences for institutions, markets and products.
- Identify new and/or complex legal problems and propose appropriate solutions;
- Clearly present a legal problem in oral and written form (in French and English), according to a structured argumentation, as well as the proposed solutions;
- Conduct rigorous individual or collective scientific research on investment fund law.
