Career opportunities

Graduates may pursue a career as an investment fund lawyer, a legal officer in a fund industry professional (manager, custodian, distributor), a compliance officer, or even in national, European or international institutions.
The Master’s degree also allows candidates who meet the requirements to continue their studies at PhD level.

Objectives

Training high-level lawyers specialised in Luxembourg Investment Funds Law

The Master in Investment Funds Law aims to train high-level lawyers specialised in investment fund law, especially in Luxembourg law, who are able to evolve in a multicultural and multilingual environment, in order to meet the growing need for qualified graduates

Learning outcomes

Master and apply the concepts of Luxembourg Investment Funds Law

  • Master the concepts of Luxembourg and European investment funds law, follow current developments in the field and understand the unique challenges;
  • Identify and explain the interactions between these different concepts, as well as with those of other branches of law;
  • Understand the dynamics of the evolving legal and regulatory frameworks and the consequences for institutions, markets and products.
  • Identify new and/or complex legal problems and propose appropriate solutions;
  • Clearly present a legal problem in oral and written form (in French and English), according to a structured argumentation, as well as the proposed solutions;
  • Conduct rigorous individual or collective scientific research on investment fund law.
