The Consumer Law Clinic of the University of Luxembourg is the first European clinic exclusively dedicated to consumer law that is open to the public.
Coordinated by Prof. Elise Poillot, the Clinic can assist clients in disputes with Luxembourg-based retailers in amounts up to 5,000€. The Consumer Law Clinic team is comprised of Master 2 Students in Law, practicing lawyers and academic staff.
Please note that while the Clinic cannot offer legal counsel, they will study your case and provide expert information to help you find a solution.
Do you have a question? Contact the team today through a simple online questionnaire (in French).
The Law clinic will take consumer requests from 20 October to 20 December.
What is a law clinic?
Law clinics seek to fulfil a twofold goal: first, to provide practical knowledge to law students; second, to support users by offering free orientation and information, which helps empower different disadvantaged communities. Their pedagogical, hands-on approach allows legal students to deal with real cases, while being fully supervised and guided by teachers and practitioners.
