As in the past, it appears that the University of Luxembourg is once again the victim of a “phishing” mail identity theft.
An email campaign pretends to originate from the University, using the University’s logo and false identities of its representatives. The campaign claims to request information and invites recipients to open a mail attachment.
The University of Luxembourg wishes to formally distance itself from this campaign that it has not initiated. The University recommends treating suspicious mail attachments with great care and calls for extra vigilance when handling potentially infected files.
