The study “Our New Housing”, aims to discover how people imagine living in Luxembourg, with regards to their current situation.
Part of the study is an anonymous survey, which takes only 10 to 15 minutes to answer. It is available in English, French, German and Luxemburgish. Residents, cross-border workers and anyone who intends to live in Luxembourg can access it until end of June at https://eistneitwunnen.lu.
As more and more persons struggle to access affordable housing, a new urgency for alternatives besides market rental housing and individual home ownership is emerging. After filling in the first part of the survey, participants are informed about possible housing alternatives and will show them which type of housing they could afford in their current situation in Luxembourg.
The project was developed by Céline Zimmer (doctoral candidate in architecture) in collaboration with the Master in Architecture, the Department of Geography and Spatial Planning and the Ministry of Housing.
