How to request an Erasmus+ grant for traineeship
Before undertaking the below steps, you must plan out an internship with your faculty and a host institution.
The BRI does not intervene in your research for an internship and is only in charge of the grant.
Before submitting a request for an Erasmus+ grant for traineeship, you must make sure your internship is already planned.
Once you have agreed upon conducting an internship with your host institution, you must materialize it with an internship agreement signed by you, your faculty, and your host institution (the organism which will supervise the internship).
Once your internship is planned, and you have the internship agreement on hand, send an email to bri.outgoing@uni.lu with your contact person in your faculty in copy of the request.
The Outgoing Office will send you an online form to complete with information about your internship. You will need to upload the internship agreement in the form.
Deadline: you must send us your request at least 4 weeks before the start of your internship.
Once we have confirmed your eligibility for an Erasmus+ grant for traineeship, you will need to complete and/or review, as well as sign the following documents:
- Erasmus+ mobility contract: this document sets the framework of your mobility, as well as the Erasmus+ grant you will receive
- Learning agreement for traineeship: this document provides details about your traineeship and its recognition by your faculty
These documents, once complete and signed, must be uploaded on your Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility Portal
Once you have started your internship, should its objectives and modalities change, you must complete the “During the mobility” table of your Learning agreement.
Before departing from your host institution, your supervisor there must complete and sign the “After the mobility” table of your Learning agreement.
This table is your traineeship certificate, which, once completed and signed, must be uploaded on your Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility Portal.
You need to submit the end of stay report (Erasmus+ participant report) sent by EU CORPORATE NOTIFICATION SYSTEM eu-corporate-notification-system@ec.europa.eu : an invitation to complete this report will be sent to you automatically on the end of stay date indicated on your mobility contract.
If your stay has ended earlier than expected, please upload the traineeship certificate on the portal and submit the form so that we can change the dates. The invitation for the report will then be sent to you earlier.
All documents and the report are mandatory for the payment of the Erasmus+ grant for traineeship!
