Dr Farah Alibay, a systems engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Dr Farah Alibay has been an aerospace engineer who, for over 10 years, has worked on building robots that explore our solar system. In her talk, she describes her career path, as a daughter of Canadian immigrants, along with the obstacles she faced along the way. She approaches subjects like racism, sexism, allyship, the imposters syndrome and much more, in an open and personal style. The lecture will be followed by an in-depth Q&A.
