The Luxembourg government provides a comprehensive package of preventive and protective measures to be implemented during weather‑related emergencies (such as storms, heavy rain, snow, heat, cold, and flooding). The government uses a structured alert system with yellow, orange and red levels to indicate degrees of risk and guide the public on the appropriate actions to take.

The University follows official government weather alerts to ensure timely safety measures for all campus users.

Luxembourg has no nuclear facilities, but due to its proximity to the Cattenom plant in France, the government has put in place a dedicated nuclear emergency plan.

The University fully adheres to these official guidelines to help ensure the safety and well‑being of its community.
