Life Inclusion and wellbeing

Dignity and respect

At the University of Luxembourg we are dedicated to fostering a culture of dignity and respect on our campus. We believe that every member of our community deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.

Our core values

Inclusion

We are dedicated to making the University a fair place to work and study and to creating an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and everyone feels a sense of belonging.

Diversity

We celebrate the diversity of our community, where over 130 nationalities study and work together. Our differences make us stronger, more self-aware, creative and innovative, creating a more conducive learning environment and positively impacting learning outcomes.

Promoting dignity and respect on campus

  • Zero tolerance for discrimination

Discrimination, harassment, bullying and sexual misconduct have no place on our campus. The University has strict policies in place to address and prevent such behaviours.

  • Code of Conduct

Our campus community follows a Code of Conduct that promotes the principles of respect, empathy, active listening, constructive feedback and kindness.

  • Reporting mechanisms

We provide clear channels for reporting incidents of discrimination, harassment, bullying and sexual misconduct. Our aim is to address such issues promptly and to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
