About

This project aims to tackle the challenges of integrating autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies by combining human-centered communication with advanced language models (LLMs). A collaboration between Quebec and Luxembourg, it seeks to create a unified system for real-time AV-user communication and long-term infrastructure planning. The system has two key components: (1) a conversational interface that enhances the travel experience by providing real-time updates and gathering user feedback, and (2) an off-route platform that allows community members to participate in infrastructure planning and provide feedback on policies. This data-driven approach ensures that public agencies gain insights into user needs and community priorities, supporting more informed AV integration strategies. The project also promotes continuous community engagement by summarizing public meetings, addressing barriers to participation, and fostering transparency. By merging real-time AV operation with participatory infrastructure planning, this project aims to set new standards for equitable and adaptive mobility solutions, benefiting both Quebec and Luxembourg while driving socioeconomic growth.
