The Office of Doctoral Studies (B.E.D. – TS) is pleased to announce that the next edition of the Induction Days will be held from June 2 to June 6, 2025, in Belval.
This event, dedicated to new doctoral candidates who joined the University of Luxembourg between September 15, 2024, and May 15, 2025, aims to equip participants with essential soft skills to successfully begin their doctorate and to facilitate their integration into the research community.

The Office of Doctoral Studies offers Induction Days for new doctoral candidates joining the University of Luxembourg. The purpose of the Induction Days is to give all new doctoral candidates guidance on academic requirements, culture, and expectations right from the beginning of their doctoral studies. A condensed program of transferable skills will equip the participants with the most needed soft skills to start their doctorate and grant them a sense of belonging to the research community, ensuring they get the right points of contact.

Full participation to the induction days (including pre & post assignments) will guarantee a minimum of 2 ECTS from the Transferable Skills team. Possible further credits will be allocated by the doctoral schools. Eligible doctoral candidates will receive more information and access to a Moodle page.
