On 19 June 2024, the Doctoral School in Economics, Finance and Management (DSEFM) organized a successful networking event that brought together approximately 80 participants, including PhD students, numerous alumnis, professors, postdocs, and students from the Master in Quantitative Economics and Finance (MQEF).
This event was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, network, and share valuable experiences.
The Head of the Doctoral School, Prof. Pierre M. Picard, notably took this opportunity to extend his congratulations and thanks to:
- The former PHD representatives: Aleksa Uljarevic (Economics & Management) and Elizaveta Nekrasova (Finance),
- The new PHD representatives: Cecilia Caceres Juan (Economics & Management), Ha Gia Han Pham (Finance) and Natella Agykian (who will represent students from LISER).
- The winners of Awards and Prizes in 2023/2024:
- Elizaveta Nekrasova – Best Doctoral Candidate in Finance,
- Javier Sanchez Bachiller – Best Doctoral Candidate in Economics and Management,
- David Marguerit – Laureate of the Pierre Werner Scholarship,
- Silvia Peracchi – FDEF nominees Rolf Tarrach,
- Aleksandr Ermakov – Laureate of the DSEFM Best Thesis Award.
This event not only celebrated the achievements of the academic year but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations and professional growth.
