The LLC law collection contains textbooks, manuals/handbooks, theses, guides, tutorials/exercises, conference proceedings, Festschriften/honorary publications, commentaries, codes, reports of court decisions, encyclopedias, dictionaries and periodicals (reviews, yearbooks) which are essential for studying and teaching law.
The collection covers all branches of law and is mainly based on four national legal systems (Luxembourg, Belgium, France and Germany), European law (Council of Europe and European Union) as well as comparative, transnational, supranational and international law. The resources are continually being updated with publications from other national legal systems (e.g. the UK, US and Canada). The collection consists primarily of literature in French, German and English.
The entire law collection (both the print resources and the electronic resources) is listed in a-z.lu, the collective catalogue for the Luxembourg library network bibnet.lu.

The LCEL Library is the direct continuation of the renowned research library of the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law (MPI) at it houses a specialized collection focused on all aspects of public and private (procedural) law. It offers extensive resources on topics such as dispute resolution, judicial settlements, arbitration, mediation, online dispute resolution (ODR), alternative dispute resolution (ADR), human rights, transitional justice, mass claims processing, as well as international and European law.
