EWB Luxembourg: Engineers Without Borders Luxembourg
The objectives of EWB Luxembourg are:
- to help developing countries and populations in need, and to contribute to the improvement of environmental conditions (including the flora, fauna and diversity of ecosystems), by applying the technical methods of engineers;
- to bring together people, companies and organisations wishing to participate in this effort and to establish collaborations;
- to create, propose and support development projects in developing countries in partnership with local players and to gather the necessary funding;
- to train, educate and raise awareness among people, particularly engineers, of the difficulties faced by developing countries, and to promote awareness of their responsibilities and the technical solutions they can provide;
- to facilitate internships, research projects, extra-curricular/ extra-professional/professional activities or collaborations that propose technical solutions to help developing countries for students, engineers, researchers, employees of the University of Luxembourg and other institutions.
