Interdisciplinary Centre Luxembourg Centre for Socio-Environmental Systems (LCSES)

Diversity, future-minded

We aim to build a welcoming and diverse team of researchers from a variety of international and cultural backgrounds. Our team will bring together dynamic, curious, and forward-thinking individuals who are excited to tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges.

We value strong research experience, shown through impactful publications and success in securing external funding. Ideally, our team members will be skilled in synthesis approaches—like meta-analyses—that help make sense of diverse data to explore how climate change and biodiversity loss affect areas such as human health and food security.

We are committed to making our research matter beyond academia. This includes working closely with policymakers, NGOs, and other stakeholders to help turn our findings into real-world impact. Supporting early-career researchers through mentoring is an important part of who we are, as is contributing to teaching in areas related to environmental change and socio-environmental systems at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
