How to participate
During this study, we are recruiting people with PD living in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. No prior experience with digital health technologies is needed – your honest thoughts matter most, whether you love or avoid them.
This study consists of two phases and participants can take in one or both phases:
Phase 1: a 45-60min one-on-one conversation (in-person at the Parkinson Research Clinic, at home, or via video call) in English, German or French. The objective of this phase is to talk about participant’s experience and expectations with digital health technologies and what makes it easier or harder to use them to actively engage in your care.
Phase 2: a 15-30min online or paper survey available in English, German, or French. Participants will rate aspects of patient empowerment they consider most important for digital health technologies to support.
Your participation will help us:
- Identify and rank aspects of empowerment valued by people with PD when using DHTs
- Understand how the personal circumstances people with PD and disease-related challenge shape these priorities
- Gain insights into barriers and enablers of empowerment in digital health among people with PD
