The Neuropathology group, led by Prof. Michel Mittelbronn, combines clinical diagnostics with basic research to decipher the pathogenesis of neurooncology and neurodegenerative disorders.
A glimpse into our research
Our goal is to interpret pathological and molecular findings from cell culture- and animal models within a translationally meaningful framework. We work toward providing biomedical research with new inisghts into pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disease that could benefit patients in the form of new biomarker and therapeutic target candidates
The Neuropathology group was established under the auspices of the Luxembourg National Research Fund’s PEARL Programme.
