New Students and Refresher Courses
New students are selected among the applicants on academic merit. Applications from students who did not study mathematics for their Bachelor degree are also considered if the applicant achieved very good results in a sufficient number of relevant mathematics courses.
Applications are checked and evaluated individually when they arrive, and admission decisions are taken during the entire application period.
To ensure a smooth start of their studies, all new students will be accompanied by one of the study directors to prepare for the programme. This will include selection of their first optional courses.
Moreover, the programme starts in the two weeks before the beginning of the first semester with Refresher Courses, which revise and practice the prerequisites of the programme.
New students should not hesitate to address any questions they may have to one of the study directors.
