About
The influence of CO2 in the atmosphere has been proven to affect the climate due to the use of fossil fuels. Therefore, technologies need to be developed that provide energy while considering a circular economy. One idea is to store green hydrogen in the form of a derivative and transport it over long distances. Derivatives like ammonia or methanol can then be cracked regardless of location to produce hydrogen. The product of the cracking must then be separated into its components to obtain hydrogen as an energy source. The quality and purity of hydrogen are crucial for several applications. Therefore, the aim is to develop a hydrogen-selective membrane to receive high permselectivity of hydrogen.
