Searching for early quantum computing advantage

His research is in the domain of quantum algorithms and quantum hardware closely coupled to high-performance computing systems. He tries to find ‘’practical” value in early noisy quantum computers, understand the limits of noisy hardware itself, and thinks how to optimally couple quantum and classical computers. He co-supervised 3 PhD students and several postdocs.
