As part of the EU funded Erasmus+ project Spirit4Care, the University of Luxembourg is proud to host a training programme in early 2026, designed to strengthen spiritual care practices in nursing education and clinical work. Over the course of two sessions, participants will discover a person-centered approach that places patients’ values at the heart of care.
Two complementary sessions
The training takes place in two stages:
- Session 1: Train-the-trainer (19–23 January 2026)
Dedicated to nursing educators, this session focuses on developing teaching skills through role-play, simulations (both in-person and remote), and blended learning methods. Participants will gain the tools to integrate spiritual care into their teaching practice. - Session 2: Putting skills into practice (16–20 February 2026)
In this phase, the trained educators will put their new competencies into action by teaching professional nurses and students in the Bachelor programme (general nursing and specialisations).
