The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine. Reuniting 60 participants on the Kirchberg campus, they discussed the broad field of computational methods and tools in systems and synthetic biology and their applications.
Created in 2003, the annual CMSB conference series brings together computer scientists, biologists, mathematicians, physicists and engineers interested in the system-level study, modeling, simulation, formal analysis and also design of biological systems.
They exchanged on original research articles, tool papers, posters and talks were highlighting the modelling and analysis of biological systems and networks, as well as the analysis of biological data.
Leading the conference was Prof. Dr. Jun Pang who acted as the general chair and PC co-chair for the conference accompanied by Dr. Joachim Niehren from Inria Lille in France acted as PC-co-chair.
‟ It is really a pleasure for me to organize a conference for a research community focusing on computational systems biology. The conference was very successful in terms of interactions and discussions among the participants, rich and high quality program, and excellent talks by the invited speakers.”
