HPC Continuum 2026 is a three-day international scientific conference addressing emerging trends in High-Performance Computing (HPC), with a particular focus on the integration and interconnection of technologies that enable seamless scalability, portability, and efficient use of computing resources. It explores how applications and data can move dynamically across heterogeneous environments—spanning edge, cloud, and HPC systems—to meet evolving computational needs.

The conference will bring together leading researchers, industry experts, and infrastructure specialists to foster global collaboration across the HPC continuum and to shape a shared vision for scalable, interoperable, and sustainable HPC ecosystems worldwide. The programme will feature keynote presentations, technical sessions, and discussions covering major developments in areas such as AI–HPC convergence, heterogeneous systems, workflow orchestration, data governance, and emerging paradigms including quantum and edge computing.

Panels and round tables will complement the programme by addressing strategic challenges and future directions for the field.

The conference is organised alongside the EUMaster4HPC Summer School, which complements the programme by enabling in-depth engagement with early-career researchers and facilitating exchange with a global community of HPC experts, including leading researchers from over 23 countries. Together, these activities ensure a high-level scientific programme at the intersection of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, data-centric systems, cybersecurity, and sustainability.
