Prof. Belmans arranged a fully sponsored summer workshop at Utrecht University on Geometry, plus I pursued very interesting informal reading projects, opportunities rarely found at other universities. My Bachelor’s thesis under Prof. Wiese’s dedicated mentorship was transformative, complemented by his invitation to weekly PhD seminars, an extraordinary opportunity for an undergrad.
