The Department of Physics and Materials Science (Uni.lu) would like to invite you to its annual scientific workshop, which will take place on January 29 at MAE (Campus Belval). This year, we have the honor of welcoming Prof. Dr. Jean-Francois Guillemoles (Ecole Polytech IP Paris, Institute Photovoltaic Ile de France, Palaiseau) as our invited plenary speaker, who will present a keynote lecture on the physics of solar cells.
The plenary talk will be followed by a rich scientific program featuring oral presentations from members of our department (covering a wide range of topics from quantum science, machine learning, statistics to spectroscopy, and living matter), a poster session, and a presentation of the Scienteens Lab in Physics activities.
This annual workshop is a valuable opportunity to connect and exchange with members from our Department, external collaborators, Bachelor’s and Master’s students in Physics, and members of APHYL. Participants are also kindly invited to join the aperitif and the social dinner, fostering further discussions.
