Research Group Discovering Structures in Numbers

Discovering structures in numbers

E6-2

The group members explore many facets of modern number theory and its applications, carry out and promote experimental mathematics, and highly value teaching.

Number Theory, Arithmetic Geometry and Applications

The group’s research portfolio includes theoretic and experimental work on modular and automorphic forms, Galois representations, the inverse Galois problem, elliptic curves and abelian varieties, as well as relations to cryptography.
