Research Group Molecular Disease Mechanisms

Colorectal cancer research

The Molecular Disease Mechanisms group focuses on the molecular mechanisms that govern colorectal cancer and its resistance to therapies.

Better understanding of colorectal cancer mechanisms

The Molecular Disease Mechanisms group has a profound interest in dissecting the molecular mechanisms involved in the development of colorectal cancer as well as in the different drug resistance mechanisms by focusing on the metabolic changes in tumor cells and in the cells of the microenvironment (stromal cells and microbioma).

    Raising awareness about colorectal cancer
