About
Primary school classes in Luxembourg are becoming more and more diverse, and it is important to provide an inspiration for in-service teachers on how to address such a diversity, while also promoting a more equitable and inclusive society. Within the University of Luxembourg, Sylvie Kerger, assistant professor in educational psychology, Sergei Glotov, post-doctoral researcher at the SciTeach Center, and Nathalie Atten, in-service Cycle 1 teacher co-developed a pedagogical resource that provides primary school teacher with inspirations, ideas, and concrete examples from practice on the topic of diversity, equity and inclusion. The resource includes chapters such as Why does it matter?; Meaning of words; Setting up a classroom; Starting with a book; Involving parents and carers, to name but a few. Feel free to take a look, and download your copy below. A printed version of the resource is available at the SciTeach Center.
