Research Group CNS LAB

Cognitive Neuroscience Lab – CNS

The CNS research group is interested in understanding higher-order cognitive processes and their development.

Our research focus lies on numeracy and literacy and their (typical and atypical) development.

In the CNSlab we are using behavioural methods and electroencephalography (EEG) approaches to study higher-order cognition in different age groups composed of children and adults. We seek to understand how thinking and learning typically function and examine how factors such as multilingualism or specific learning difficulties shape these cognitive processes.
