Susana Matos Rosa is a Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Political Science. She is working on how central banks are adjusting their monetary policy frameworks in response to environmental needs. Susana’s PhD research project is supervised by Professor David Howarth and supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR).
Prior to joining the University of Luxembourg, Susana was Senior Office Administrator in the Directorate General Systemic & International Banks of the ECB Single Supervisory Mechanism, Programme Manager of Executive Education at Católica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics and trainee in the Partnerships and Cooperation Unit of the African Development Bank.
Susana holds a Master of Science in International Finance and Economic Policy from the University of Glasgow, a Diploma in Management with specialisation in Finance from the Catholic University of Portugal, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Nova University Lisbon. During her Bachelor’s, she benefited from a 5-month Erasmus grant from the European Commission to pursue Political Science studies in Italy.
