As part of the Horizon Europe project INNOVATE, our DGEO members Nora Trausch, Jutta Bissinger, Adolfo Sommarribas and Birte Nienaber have published two reports examining the role of the European Migration Network (EMN) in bridging migration evidence with policy and practice.
- The report “Statelessness in Europe: Insights, evidence needs and engagement” analyses the EMN’s role in evidence engagement, with a focus on the EMN Platform on Statelessness, highlighting its function as a knowledge broker that facilitates information exchange and relationship-building.
- The report “Forecasting and Preparedness in Migration: Insights, evidence needs and engagement” examines the EMN’s work on migration forecasting and preparedness, an area of increasing interest to policymakers and practitioners, and identifies key challenges and future opportunities.
