Over 60 students and colleagues attended our Semester Opening Event on 7th October in the Blackbox, Campus Belval.

After kind words of welcome from our Dean, Prof Robert Harmsen, this year’s keynote was given by Philippe Nathan, founder of the architecture office 2001, on the fascinating story of the ‘Schluechthaus’ project, a major urban renewal endeavour in Luxembourg-Hollerich. After an inspiring discussion with the speaker, attendees also enjoyed mingling during the drink and fingerfood reception.

Thank you to Philippe Nathan for participating in our event and for the inspiring presentation and discussion!

Many thanks to Tom Becker, Angelina Kircheva and the FCAT team for organizing the event!
