Utopian Thought and the Transformation of Productive Structures: From Work to Post-Work?
Abstract:
The paper aims to assess the exploration of the utopian paradigm within the context of technological advancement and its implications for human labor. It begins by examining contemporary “post-work” perspectives and utopian interpretations related to the evolution of the labor sphere, before turning to the significance of the social dimension and its dynamics in redefining productive structures. Utopia is approached as a regulatory ideal, emphasizing the conjectural contributions of theories developed throughout the history of utopian thought. The analysis seeks to understand how utopian theories emerge in contexts of social dissatisfaction, prompting internal reflection on existing social and economic structures.
