Join us for the 1st Workshop on Artificial Cultural Reasoning taking place on 17 November 2025 at Trier University. You can find all details here: curia-gr.github.io

The event brings together researchers from AI, linguistics, and the humanities to discuss how artificial intelligence can (or can’t) understand culture. We’ll explore questions such as:

  • How can AI adapt to local cultural contexts?
  • What does it mean for a model to show “cultural sensitivity”?
  • And what happens when systems overlook cultural differences — especially in multilingual border regions like the Greater Region?

The day will feature short talks, discussions, and a poster session. Participation is free, and everyone interested in culture, language, and AI is welcome.
