Cyril’s primary research interests center on understanding language, cognitive, and socio-emotional development of children growing up in different environments. With a profound interest in language development and multilingualism, Cyril explores how linguistic diversity impacts cognitive and educational outcomes. Additionally, his research focuses on the well-being and socio-emotional development of children growing up in out-of-home care. Cyril has always been particularly dedicated to applied and translational research in real-world settings, using quantitative methodologies including longitudinal, intervention, individual difference, experimental, and survey studies. In addition to his research endeavors, he is a member of the diagnostic team at a center for children and adolescents with special needs in Luxembourg.
