Dr. Céline DUJARDIN

Céline Dujardin is a Research Scientist in educational and social sciences within the Department of Social Sciences, especially in social work at the University of Luxembourg.

Her research interests concern vulnerable populations in relation to social work as well as family research. For example, the PhD thesis entitled “Parenting in vulnerable situations: trajectories of family resilience?” outlines difficult family situations in the domain of child protection in Luxembourg.

Her teaching activities are mainly in the Bachelor of Social and Educational Sciences, where she serves as Deputy Director of the study program.

She has been involved in several research projects. She was the Principal Investigator of the FNR-funded CORE project “Social Housing and Homelessness” (SOHOME, 2019-2023). Furthermore, she worked on different networking activities and arising teaching programs.

Following successful studies in educational sciences and psychomotricity, she received her master’s degree in educational sciences at the University of Mons (Belgium) in 2010. She obtained her PhD in social sciences at the University of Luxembourg in 2015.
