On Wednesday, 12th November the final event of the AlimenTERRE Film Festival took place, which was hosted by the University of Luxembourg’s Sustainability Ambassadors in collaboration with Greenpeace Luxembourg, Natur&Ëmwelt a.s.b.l. and Meng Landwirtschaft.
After watching the film ‘Food For Profit’ together, the audience engaged in a vivid panel discussion moderated by our DGEO member Nicklas Riekötter consisting of Tilly Metz (Member of the European Parliament), Kate Buckeridge (Researcher at LIST), Jeff Boonen (Member of the Chamber of Deputies) and Raymond Aenderkerk (Meng Landwirtschaft/ Greenpeace).
The discussion explored questions around the future of agricultural policy, the tension between industrial food production and sustainability goals, as well as pathways toward more resilient and ecologically sound food systems
