The ‘Posters in Parliament’ project seeks to promote bachelor students’ scholarly achievements by providing them with the opportunity to present their Research Posters in the Chamber of Deputies, in the presence of their mentors and Members of Parliament. While this marks the first ‘Posters in Parliament’ to be held in Luxembourg, similar events follow a well-established tradition in other countries, including the U.S. and the U.K. ‘Posters in the Chamber’ is set within the larger framework of the ‘Posters in Brussels Erasmus +’ project.
Why participate?
The project is committed to consolidating the link between students and democratic institutions by bringing visibility to their research. The event aims to give students and their mentors the opportunity to exchange ideas, not only with each other, but also with Members of Parliament. We have opted for a pedagogical approach centered on students, to help them feel safe and welcome to present their research within the most important democratic institution: the Parliament. This project engages students primarily as adults –– as citizens.
