Raffaela Grigolli Cesar is a PhD researcher in Social Sciences in the Department of Social Sciences. She holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance from the University of Luxembourg and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Insper – Institute of Education and Research (Brazil).
Her research examines the interaction between climate change and economic insecurity, focusing on both exposure to extreme weather events and the effectiveness of policies designed to mitigate insecurity. Using quasi-experimental methods and longitudinal survey data, she studies how climate shocks affect objective and subjective economic insecurity.
