About
This project examines the wellbeing and mental health of highly vulnerable children in out-of-home care settings through a collaborative effort between Luxembourg and Scotland. By analyzing data from the HERO study in Luxembourg, which assesses mental health and resilience in children in residential and family-based care, alongside research from the Centre for Child Wellbeing and Protection at the University of Stirling, the project aims to identify key factors influencing child wellbeing. Objectives include comparing findings from Luxembourg and Scotland, investigating differences and similarities in child welfare systems, and exploring family-centered support and out-of-home care services.
