About
The goal of the project is to shed light on parents’ perception of play as a learning opportunity or a pastime that is not as important as more academically focused activities. Moreover, we are interested in how interindividual differences in parents and their children influence parents’ perception of play and how they implement play into the home learning environment. Investigating the interplay of parental characteristics with their views on play and their translation into the home learning environment can provide interesting insights into the way different parents utilise play as an opportunity for their children to learn and grow.
