Filling the gap in the study of Luxembourg private law

Although civil law is commonly regarded as the matrix in continental law, it is often neglected in Luxembourg. Researchers and lawmakers choose to concentrate their efforts on seemingly more promising niche issues. The FDEF’s Civil Law research group aims to fill this gap by focusing on fundamental issues of private law in the conferences it organises and the papers it publishes.
