The Faculty of Law of the University of Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to this Conference on Insolvency.

Abstract:

The conference is dedicated to the transposition of Directive (EU) 2019/1023 in several Member States of the European
Union, foremost among them Belgium, France, and Luxembourg. The conference is organized in the form of roundtable
discussions designed to facilitate cross-discussions between legal scholars and practitioners, focusing on two
closely related questions: has the national transposition of Directive (EU) 2019/1023 enabled the introduction of new
preventive restructuring tools or, at the very least, improved existing mechanisms in the studied Member States? What
consequences do these new or improved rules entail for debtors and creditors?

Languages: English and French

This is a free conference. Registration is mandatory.
