Kalliopi joined the University of Luxembourg in January 2022. She has concluded her legal studies at Leiden University (Advanced LL.M. on Law and Digital Technologies) and at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (LL.B.). Previous research and professional roles were held at, among others, the Administrative Court of Thessaloniki, Eurojust, Centre for Innovation (Leiden University), The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies, and Avery Dennison. Kalliopi has authored and contributed to scholarly publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, such as the International Data Privacy Law (Oxford University Press). Her research focuses on the evaluation of AI applications automating the judicial administration of EU courts under the right to a fair trial.
