Welcoming new Ferrero Fellows
The event brought together Ferrero representatives, faculty members, students and fellowship alumni, highlighting the continued partnership between FDEF and Ferrero Luxembourg and its commitment to supporting talented students.
The evening began with a guided visit to Casa Ferrero, allowing the fellows to discover the environment where they will complete their internships next spring. The visit was followed by the official ceremony celebrating the new fellows.
Filippo Busceti, HR Director of Ferrero Luxembourg, welcomed participants and shared insights into Ferrero’s history and values. He highlighted the impact of the Ferrero Fellowship programme, which, since its launch in 2017, has supported 41 students through financial assistance and professional experience. Many former fellows have continued their professional journey at Ferrero.
He also emphasised the importance of the partnership between Ferrero and FDEF in nurturing young talent and supporting students as they take their first steps into professional life. Encouraging the fellows to make the most of the experience, he invited them to remain curious, learn as much as possible and invest time in building strong relationships with their future colleagues.
Associate Professor Mickaël Geraudel, Acting Vice-Dean of FDEF and Chair Holder in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, also addressed the audience. He emphasised the importance of complementing academic learning with practical experience and praised Ferrero for giving students access to a professional environment. As he noted,
‟ Theoretical knowledge gains real-world value through practical application. Opportunities to experience the business environment, learn directly from colleagues and build a professional network only happen outside the lecture hall. We are thankful to Ferrero for fostering this exceptional atmosphere where our students feel, as they say themselves time and time again, like they are part of the Ferrero family.”

The fellows were then presented with their certificates and a selection of Ferrero treats. The evening closed with a cocktail reception, creating space for conversation among the new fellows, Fellowship alumni, and representatives from Ferrero and the University.
