Hailing from Omsk, a city in the heart of Siberian Russia, Egor is a seasoned global voyager. Armed with an Honours master’s degree in information-Analytical Security Systems and a remarkable track record spanning over 7 years, his expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of international startups, hands-on research, and hackathons. Egor’s journey in the academic arena has been equally impressive, dotted with significant contributions to numerous research projects. These include works such as ” Sharing Physical Objects Using Smart Contracts ” , ” z-Commerce: designing a data-minimizing one click checkout solution” , and most recently, early upcoming papers research on ” Beyond a Fistful of Tumblers: Toward a Multi-layered Taxonomy of Ethereum-based Crypto-asset Mixers ” . Research projects ” Distributed Ledger Performance Scan” (DPLS), and ” European Blockchain Services Infrastructure Luxembourg” (EBSILUX) with the Ministry for Digitalization of Luxembourg. And hackathon projects such as ” Decentralized Electronic Prescription Management System” , and ” Gamification for Reduced Energy Consumption ” led to the double victory of the “Infrachain Challenge” in 2021 and 2022. More than just an accomplished scholar, Egor is also an intellectual explorer, ceaselessly seeking out the frontier of emerging technological innovations. This trait is aptly demonstrated in his recent journey to a research conference in Pretoria, South Africa, where he presented on ” z-Commerce” . Egor remains an unwavering advocate of open-mindedness, consistently pushing the limits of his knowledge to contribute to the expanding horizon of the tech world quickly approaching a decade of practical world experience.
Egor embodies exceptional leadership, coupled with an insatiable curiosity for emerging technologies. His academic prowess was recognized with the ” Georgius Agricola Scholarship ” in 2016, acknowledging his studies in Distributed Systems Engineering at the Dresden University of Technology (TUD). Further demonstrating his commitment to learning, Egor assumed a significant role at the University of Lugano’s (USI) at the Ubiquitous Computing Research Group. This was as a result of being awarded the prestigious ” Master Research Scholarship” (MaRS) in 2018. Egor’s diligent efforts were instrumental in the inception and evolution of the “Just Share It” research project under the supervision of Prof. Marc Langheinrich.
Egor previously embarked on a journey through the private sector in duality with his full-time studies, aligning himself with an array of startups where he could excel, learn, and grow. This period was characterized by networking, acquiring new competencies, and global exploration. However, his innate longing for the thrill and fulfillment of public research in the heart of Europe pulled him back towards a position in Luxembourg, leading him to join SnT – FINATRAX under supervision of Prof. Gilbert Fridgen in Luxembourg to propel his ambitions further. Re-immersed in the public research realm, Egor has redirected his focus towards emerging technologies ” Zero-Knowledge Proof” and “Self-Sovereign Identity” , benchmarking their privacy aspects. Egor serves as an exemplary advocate for Data privacy in our modern world, both in his promotion of blockchain technology, as well as his dedicated research into different avenues where privacy can be better achieved and integrated into today’s world.
