Valentin Emslander is a PhD student at the Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing (LUCET) at the University of Luxembourg. In cooperation with the Observatoire National de la Qualité Scolaire, he works on a project aiming to systematically identify high value added in educational contexts in Luxembourg. Valentin’s further research interests include meta-analytic methods, executive functions and (academic) achievement as well as LGBTQ+ psychology and well-being.
He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology at the University of Trier, Germany, with research stays in Norway, Luxembourg, and Australia. Before that, Valentin completed a one-year program of liberal arts and sciences at the Leibniz Kolleg Tübingen, Germany.
