Stefanie joined the University of Luxembourg in 2007 within the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication (FSTC). In 2010, she moved to the newly established Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), where she served as Project Coordinator.
In 2020, she transitioned to the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) as a Research Facilitator, supporting the development of research activities and funding strategies. In this role, she contributed to the acquisition of European (EC), national (FNR), and other competitive research funding, while strengthening collaborations with industry, academic partners, and public stakeholders.
She subsequently served as Project Manager for Mega Trends at the Dean’s Office of FSTM, where she was responsible for shaping and implementing strategic initiatives in key areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and energy. This included close collaboration with the rectorate, researchers across departments, and national ministries to position the university within Luxembourg’s innovation ecosystem.
Since 2026, Stefanie holds the position of Head of Faculty Administration (HoFA) at FSTM. In this role, she oversees the faculty’s administrative functions, including finance, human resources, communications, and infrastructure, and leads efforts in process optimization and organizational development. She works closely with the Dean and central university services to support effective governance and the implementation of the faculty’s strategic priorities.
